How quickly will my new bed arrive?

Each bed is made to order, with the manufacturing process taking about 3-4 weeks. Once finished, your bed will be handed over to a 2-man delivery team, who will ring you to arrange a suitable installation date, which is normally within 1-2 weeks of the bed being finished. This means from the point of order to the day of delivery, your bed should be delivered within 4-6 weeks.

What can I expect on the day of delivery?

Our 2-man delivery team will bring the bed indoors in pieces and set it up it in a room of your choice. Once set-up, they will also test the bed with you present to confirm everything is working, and you are happy.

Can I pay to have my old bed taken away?

Yes, although this does add a cost of £250 (charged by the furniture assemblers to us, which we must pass on). This option can be selected when adding the bed to your shopping cart.

What locations do you deliver to?

Due to the size and nature of this product, we deliver anywhere in the Great British mainland (England, Scotland & Wales) only.

Can I cancel or return this item

No. This is a made-to-order bed and is handmade to your exact option selections and as such is a 'customised' item in the eyes of the law, meaning it cannot be easily resold and therefore is non-cancellable and non-refundable.

What happens if my bed arrives damaged?

This is extremely rare - Our bed delivery teams take great care and specialize in handling beds, and we therefore guarantee that any bed delivered damaged or faulty will have an engineer dispatched to your home as soon as possible to replace any damaged or faulty components.

As a prestigious British manufacturing company, your bed is covered by Sitting Pretty's 3-year guarantee on the internal mechanism. If you have a problem with the bed, simply contact us, and we will arrange for one of Sitting Pretty's engineers to visit your home to make any needed repairs. The bed's mattress, frame, and electrical connections are also warranted for the first year.

If you want to cover yourselves against accidental damage, you can add accidental damage cover. This paid option extends the warranty covering parts, labour and call-outs in the event of a fault to a total of 5 years and also adds accidental damage cover, to ensure that you are insured against pet damage, stains and more. Please note that due to changes in FCA Law, the Emmiera group who provide the premium warranty now have to operate a fixed pricing structure for warranties based on the value of the furniture:

Each bed model goes through rigorous design and testing processes at our highly experienced British Factory, which uses only high quality timber, and fine padding and upholstery to cut, bolt, screw and glue each bed together to order.

Home Installation Included

As a complete package, we include engineer home installation with every bed, which includes a 2-man team visiting your home within 5-6 weeks of order and setting up the bed and demonstrating the controls. You can also opt to have an old bed removed at the same time.

Every order comes with a 3 year warranty on all moving parts to back up the solid quality of our beds. We also include 1 year's cover on the mattress, electrics, fixtures/fittings and upholstery, plus you can insure the bed against accidental damage for 5 years for just £80.
